Summary After a conversation with Jesús, with whom she is trying to smooth things over, Lucía finds out that her family is also linked to El Manto, but when she asks her grandmother, Lucía notices that she is distraught. Meanwhile, she keeps trying to raise awareness among the population of the city, and for that reason she asks Aureliano for help one more time. However, El Manto does not wait and starts an offensive: they hire new workers from neighboring towns and put pressure on those who left, including Josefina's brothers, which raises doubts among the inhabitants of Luz Mala. They are also doing the same to Jesús, who finds himself in an impasse between listening to his bosses or helping Lucía and Aureliano's cause. No one knows what Jesús will be capable of if he makes the wrong decision.
