Summary Carrington-Smythe sends Barry and Paul to a space station where eccentric Professor Rex Frimley lives in splendid isolation. He has invented a machine which can change the weather and it must not fall into the wrong hands. The professor is abducted by a woman called Maddy, who is after the whereabouts of the machine but before she drags him away he throws Paul and Barry some scraps of paper with clues written on them.
