Summary Self-styled 'inferior designers' the Chuckle Brothers go to lay a carpet at Mrs. Blenkinsop's house in her absence. Having got the carpet through the window it has to go out again to allow removal of the old carpet. Barry gets rolled up in it, furniture is destroyed and a budgie almost escapes before the job is done but, as Paul says, a new carpet can transform a room - though in this case not for the better.
