Summary Jim Phelps and his team of agents are assigned to finding out what has happened to more than 100 young girls who have mysteriously disappeared from the American town of New Orleans. The police in New Orleans are convinced that the girls have fallen victims to Jake Morgan, a jazz club owner who they also believe is responsible for an extensive white slavery business that kidnaps young girls and sells them as slaves to countries in Africa and Asia. If Morgan really is guilty of these accusations, it is up to the IMF-team to find the evidence and hopefully also a complete records of all the girls that have been sold through the organisation. If records can be found, the girls in question can be tracked, and hopefully also ultimately saved from slavery.
