Summary Doc Croc and Yoyo crash into a barn just in time to hear a widow and her son Jack threatened by a tax collector. Jack prepares to sell their cow, and meets a mysterious stranger who offers beans he claims are magic, which Jack accepts. After his mother throws them out the window, each sprouts an enormous stalk. Climbing to take the beans they think will be on them, the three find none but end up above the clouds near a castle inhabited by a giant couple, and are captured for food.
