Summary The Cannon King: Bertramsen dreams that he is involved in a deadly naval battle. When he wakes up, he is surprised in nightwear by Miss Brahe. In the elf's home, Pyrus and Freja hold a sweeping contest with Bertramsen's discarded toothbrushes, and Guttenborg shows them how to shoot documents into place with a catapult. By mistake, Pyrus is shot into the office of the National Archives, so Freja has to be conjured to retrieve him. But when she gets Bertramsen to find the document where Pyrus was supposed to be, it is empty. Guttenborg is finding out what time Freja comes from, so maybe there is hope for her. Under one of the many books, Bertramsen spots something red. It looks a lot like a little hat.
