Summary Caillou learns two very important lessons in this episode- patience and persistance. Caillou, his father and his grandfather go for a walk in the woods and try to catch falling leaves. Frustrated by the game, Caillou finally realizes that he has to keep trying to be able to succeed. In the second story, Caillou learns to tie his shoe laces. Even though it takes him a whole day of practicing, and he gets a little angry in the process, he eventually gets it right! In the third story, Caillou's father teaches him to swim. After just a few lessons, Caillou can swim all by himself. Finally, after Caillou takes a bad fall off of his bicycle, he learns that he has to get back on again.
