Cultural Revolution

Summary Risk-averse Erica (Erin Karplunk) has decided that in not taking risks, she is often standing on the sidelines wondering how much more could have been achieved. Testing the sexual boundaries with Ethan (Tyron Leitso) may be one thing, but the bigger risk is the opportunity to write the sex book instead of edit it, which is what Julianne (Reagan Pasternak) is offering her. If she accepts, that means she has to give up her stable editing job. This decision is reminiscent of the year after the completion of her undergraduate degree, when she and Jenny (Paula Brancati) were going to go to Taipei for the summer to teach English but otherwise just "wing it." Erica chickened out at the last minute, which she has since regretted since it ended up being the worst summer of her life working at a boring government job instead. When Dr. Tom (Michael Riley) sends her back to that trip to Taipei, Erica learns that risk has its uncomfortable moments, and its extreme highs and lows. She also learns that taking risk should not absolve one of responsibility. And taking a risk should be about achieving what one really wants. With others, Brent (Morgan Kelly) takes another step to see if the risk he took at work pays off. And Jenny takes what she sees as a risk, but is really just her predictable course of action.

Marta (ALYCIA ALBA) has inherited his grandfather's house. Her family won't help her as they don't want to have anything to do with her grandfather and her friends are busy. The only helping hand is an old friend from childhood Lucas (JOAN GUASP). The two friends catch up with each other while they clean the grandfather's house. Soon they will discover that Marta's grandfather was more than just an ordinary high school teacher. Marta and Lucas find a old cassette tape which Marta's grandfather, the Professor Delgado (FRANCISCO CAÑELLAS voice), used to record the stories of the old movies when Marta was a little girl. It is Marta's favorite tape, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, and on it she and her friend can listen some kind of message that her grandfather must have recorded in his last days: A set of mysterious coordinates. When Marta and Lucas decide to investigate the tape's message, they are knocked and kidnapped. Marta wakes up in a estrange office where she meets Cuervo (JOSE ANTONIO NIETO), a man with a criminal reputation. Cuervo says to be a good friend of Marta's grandfather and assures her the Professor Delgado stole from him an extremely valuable object shortly before his death. Marta is unwilling to collaborate with a man who accuses his late grandfather of being a thief, specially when she's been brought to him by force. Cuervo and his number one man, Mr. Caín (IÑAKI AZPIROZ), start to lose their patience when a mysterious man appears to rescue the two friends. His name is Corso (ARTURO CADENAS). This is how this great adventure starts in which our heroes will search Eris' Apple, the Golden Apple of Discord. This will take Marta to a millennial temple in the heart of the island of Mallorca where she has to find the magic apple before Cuervo does to save the world.
