Summary A small girl inadvertently leaves her school yard as she chases after a pet rabbit, and becomes lost in the sewers and storm drains of Chicago. The more Gary tries to find her, the more he becomes the number one suspect of the Police, as they think he had something to do with her disappearance. Chuck becomes involved with an inventor of a machine that can detect movement below ground, and he persuades the inventor to test his machine by finding the girl below the pavement. As heavy rains hit the city, the storm drains become full of water, and finding the girl before she drowns becomes a race against time.
