S1.E7 ∙ Edward of York

The story revolves around a poor family living in a marginalized neighborhood in the city of Casablanca. The father is a gambling addict, the mother is an elderly woman, and the children face various conditions.

Artists gather, creating works with pastel chalks, examining life's questions. Another artist, a woman in red, arrives with new perspectives that upend the gathering and the group of friends, who find a way to bring themselves back together.

Madrid, in the forties. In the post-war period, Paca, a chorus girl who aspires to enter the Celia Gámez Company, returns to Madrid after a provincial tour. In the same train travels Luis, undocumented young person to whom Paca allows him to spend the night in the room where she lives with her sick father. Paca's relationship with Julio, a mogul without remorse, offers her financial support, but Luis gives her the tenderness and love she does not have with Julio.

Arlene lives in a small town in the midlands. One morning she wakes in the woods beside the body of a young woman, which is soon discovered. Suspicion spreads through the community and Arlene barricades herself in at night, afraid to sleep.

A man is swindled out of his mill business and turns to drink. After losing his daughter who is hit in the head by a glass during a bar brawl, he is reborn and runs for mayor a couple years later
