(The smell of your absence) is a journey into the lives of three characters living on the margins Bolivian society. It is the story of memory and soul-searching, of three lives in search of redemption in the midst of their own self-destruction. Above all, It is an expression of a forgotten generation in a country that senses itself distanced and in search of its own identity. Deko, member of a punk-destroy group, displays an aggressive temperament that goes against that of his father, While Abad hopes for the betterment of his son`s like, Deko seeks his own self-destruction, Snake never loses hope at acquiring wealth outside of a system that refuses to recognize his existence. Criss hopes to better himself economically in order to support his family while dealing with the absence of his son and a future full of doubt and uncertainty.

"Wear the Crown" inserts itself into the lives of Louisville couple, Junior and Winnie Price, who face tough times when Winnie's cancer test result comes back positive and they prepare to break the news to their four children-a businesswoman who learns that her husband is gay after cheating on her with her childhood best friend, an award-winning singer who's been diagnosed with Clinical Depression, a mother of one who's balancing the stresses of family life as she works toward a college degree, and an opera singer mama's boy. Dark pasts interfere with each child's ability to deal with their families. But it just might take a tragedy to mend a broken family back together.

A coming of age story about Bella, a 17-year old Malawian girl. Bella wrestles with intersections of traditional life and the new role of girls in modern day Malawi, artfully juggling her various roles of daughter, sister, student, advocate and a girl who just wants to grow up. The film displays a plethora of dramatics and emotional charges expected of adolescents. The film is about true friendships, unrequited romances, school bullying, the desire to be modern, teacher-student relationships and how these impact both the students and the teachers, peer pressure, the impact of stigma and discrimination that comes with HIV/AIDS, the plight of child headed families, and how strong-mindedness and the desire to do right will always prevail.

A young man is unjustly accused of a robbery, and that prevents him of becoming a boy-scout as he so much wanted, as well as ruins her older sister's marriage, due to social prejudice.
