The descent from the top of the ladder to the bottom of the barrel can be swift. Sometimes just one sentence suffices to destroy everything you've built up like a house of cards. A respected doctor, beloved father, and husband (Ondrej Vetchý) faces very serious criminal charges. Overnight he exchanges his high-class address for a custodial-prison cell, a place from which proving his innocence proves difficult, especially when the opposition is being aided by a man who could be motivated by personal revenge. It's said that the truth always prevails over lies and hatred in the end, but that doesn't necessary guarantee victory.

ELEVATE delivers a drama of intertwining stories about people who must fight to overcome their struggles with homophobia, food addiction and racism. The film follows the story of Trina, an overweight elevator switchboard operator who desperately tries to accomplish just one day of healthy eating. Overwhelmed by her abusive boss and by the trapped elevator occupants that reach out to her for help, her fitness guru provides the inspiration and escape that she craves - or does she? Ultimately, all of the occupants in this trapped world find themselves caught face-to-face with their inner demons.

The North Star is the story of Benjamin "Big Ben" Jones and Moses Hopkins, two slaves who escaped from a Virginia plantation and made their way to freedom in Buckingham, Pennsylvania in 1849. Big Ben's 6 foot 10 inch size and a record bounty for his safe return make him the focus of every slave hunter on the east coast. Their journey exposes them to danger and cruelty; however it also exposes them to the unexpected kindness of the people involved in the Underground Railroad. These experiences will change Ben and Moses forever. Upon reaching the relative safety of Mt. Gilead Church on Buckingham Mountain, Ben and Moses get to experience life as free men and cross paths with historical figures such as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Joshua and Jonathan Fell. Their freedom also allows them to experience heroism, romance and treachery.

Seventy-year-old Grandpa lives with his young grandson. He finds out he only has a short time left to live and decides to prepare for their future and to leave them something special.

The story of this film is based on the life of a well known saint and astrologer Pothuluru Veerabrahmendra Swamy.
