His first story re-evokes how the powerful Archmage, the resident wizard of Farland, once enlisted his help to thwart the menace of scheming Naepolitan vampire Ciro, responsible for kidnapping a Nymph whose magical singing allows the sun to shine over the land (a vicious move on his part to cast an eternal night upon the kingdom and become its lord). That's when Formigola joined a caravan of traveling artists and, armed with a prophecy of well-being from fortune-teller Vedonia, he embarked on his first adventure.
