Summary The Bass Strait is a strip of water dividing the Australian mainland from Tasmania. Sailors stand in awe of the strong currents, knowing that wild storms make the strait twice as rough as the English Channel. In a death defying act three brave Aussies attempt to paddle the whole 300 km across the Bass Strait from shore to shore kneeling on their boards. The adventure takes several days with stops on small islands along the way. Win-or-bust Zeb Walsh, Brad Gaul and Jack Bark have to face sickness, muscle soreness and dehydration, apart from sharks, currents and threatening waves.
