S1.E9 ∙ He is a man of courage who does not run away, but remains at his post and fights

Agadez is a lonely French outpost baking under the desert sun and commanded by the cruel and oppressive Captain Savatt (C. Henry Gordon). To it comes, at his own request, Legionnaire Jim Wilson (Paul Kelly soon followed by his fiancée, Carla Preston (Lorna Gray), who has been tracing him from post to post. Legionnaires seize the fort and turn Savitt loose in the Arab-haunted desert with only a fraction of the water and food needed to get back to civilization. But Savitt gets through and returns to the fort at the head of an avenging troop of men. But Arabs surround Savitt and his men, and the mutineers, knowing that to leave the fort and aid them means their own death...

After apprehending a number of Jihadi terrorists in Kashmir, Subedar Surya returns home to his mother, Shanta; dad, Surendra; sister, Kaveri; and brother, Deva, who all live in village in Southern India. The entire family is aware that Surya is in love with his childhood sweetheart, Gauri, and arrange their engagement. After the engagement, Gauri father, Virendra, asks Surya to quit the army and take up farming, but Surya refuses, so the engagement is broken off. A heartbroken and bitter Surya decides to cancel his leave and return back to Kashmir, but Gauri tells him that she loves him and both decide to get married. During the marriage ceremony, Virendra intervenes and refuses to permit Gauri to get married, and when she insists, he curses her. The wedding takes place nevertheless, but shortly thereafter, war breaks out and Surya is asked to re-locate to Kargil - not realizing that he may never return and Virendra's curse may well come true after all.

O. J. Simpson plays Michael Brennen, a San Francisco private eye who gets dragged into a drug-smuggling operation while searching for the girlfriend of a deal client, leading Brennen to a politically prominent family.
