'The Shadow of Death' is a brutal psychological film about the spiritual journey of a young Christian woman and her boyfriend after her family are mercilessly gunned down in cold blood. The battle that she faces grows against dangerous and vicious criminals that are rampantly destroying lives with their daily business. Adding to this, she and her boyfriend are also then pursued by a psychotic killer that has been employed to kill them without any problems. However, this leads to even greater problems and as the young woman copes with the loss of her family, and the struggle in her new circumstances, her very faith is then severely tested as the danger she faces reaches heights of unknown fear and terror.

Konny a single mom of Latin American origin lives and works in Los Angeles CA. Konny has an 8-year-old son and her mother both depend on her. Jack a father of Hispanic origin living in L.A. with his 6 year old daughter who is his passion and life, works but barely makes ends meet at the end of the month. Konny and Jack receive medical results that changed their lives. The two of them meet that same morning by chance. Dr Robinson, a psychopathic and manipulative doctor plays with the lives of patients. Joseph a nurse and former military officer who nobody really knows who he works for dominates all the people in the shade. The doctor is a person with a double life. He is the owner of the hospital, has a wealthy wife and two teenage boys. The doctor's true passion is to make people suffer and enjoy watching them go crazy. The doctor picks Joseph for his next kidnapping and emotional torture victim. The doctor also has his eyes on Jack's daughter, the little girl he could never have. His obsession is with his CCTV surveillance cameras which makes him excited to watch others suffer until he sees them die. Jack and Konny will be a mouse in a shoe box observed by the sick perverted doctor. This couple will endure torture while trying to escape. Will the doctor win his carnal desires? It is the story of two immigrants reflecting the lives of many immigrants in the City of Angels. They want to make a better life in a country that is not all the "American Dream." A psychological thriller film of intrigue from the first minute to the end that no one will forget the situations that the protagonists go through.
