Summary Leducq & Partners is a small but successful lawyers office in Brussels. The 60 year old Paul Emile Leducq is the founder and has two partners: 31 year old Gabriël Nukerke and 30 year old Chris Haagdoorn. Although the business mainly runs on lucrative financial and civil cases and divorces, Chris feels more for the criminal cases. She takes on the case of Hugo Van Eyck, an inspector of judicial police. He's being prosecuted by drugs dealer and pimp Van Limburg for falsifying an official report. He did that to protect an informant. When a prostitute finally wants to testify, she is found dead in her bath with her wrists slashed. Hugo and Chris are convinced Van Limburg had her murdered and go and investigate.
