Summary The Rugger Guard encounters a binary planet system, and a fleet of "ghost" ships orbit around on one of them. The Rugger Team deploys to investigate the fleet, which promptly flees. They then proceed to survey to the two planets; one is barren, the other is similar to Earth. The Rugger Guard performs a water-landing on the Earth-like planet, and are attacked from above by a Galveston fleet. Rugger Guard attempts to takeoff, but is forced to land again due to enemy fire. The ghost fleet returns, landing directly in front of Rugger Guard , and opens fire. They've been caught in an elaborate trap.
