S1.E4 ∙ Holding the King

Peng Yusi once again starred in the strenuous demon-exorcising movie. A cute little scholar who is possessed by a little white dragon, meets an exorcist who is at the bottom of the ranking. Since then, the devil hunting begins.

In the late Zhou Dynasty, the King of Zhou acts arbitrarily and exhausts all resources to build up his military power, causing the people to live a miserable life and the country to be on the verge of collapse. His master assigns a task to him, that is, to protect Zishang in Feng city, and assist her in finding the nine supreme tripods. After overcoming obstacles, they eliminate the demons in Feng city.

The story is based on Chang 'an in the period of Emperor Yizong of Tang Dynasty, the Five Fingers Mountain of Buddha which located on the road the West, and the design prototype of Lin Tuyi, the leading role, is based on Erlang God.
