This is the story of that remarkable school, as told by Bordentown alumni, historians, and remarkable archival footage. It is also the story of black education in America across three centuries, presenting a nuanced, rarely seen portrait of a separate black space; and a much-needed preface to the growing national discussion about historically black institutions and their role in nurturing identity and accomplishment. A poor young woman in 1930s Australia falls in love with a dashing but arrogant teacher who preaches free love and watered-down socialist precepts. She follows him to England, meeting a gentle banker en route. The film follows her relationships as they are transformed in England.

The Outcasts was a 1961 Australian television serial. A period drama, it was broadcast live, though with some film inserts. All 12 episodes of the serial survive as kinescope recordings. It was a sequel to Stormy Petrel.

Petr Vok (Martin Ruzek) changes entirely after the death of his wife Katerina, although in fact he has not been particularly fond of her. He is uninterested in women, and is often gloomy and silent. Vok also resists the amorous snares of the Countess of Montfort (Iva Janzurová), who would like to take Katerina's place. His friends and family try to distract the noble lord, but without success. Neither graceful young girls nor the sight of his court full of his illegitimate children cheers him up. Vok receives a visit from the Archduke Matyás, who wants to persuade him to join a conspiracy against the Emperor Rudolf (Zdenek Rehor). Vok refuses, and on the contrary saves Rudolf from his enemies in his steam coach.
