This, along with numerous other tragedies, reshaped her life, leading her to choose a path of drugs and alcohol- a change that eventually caused her to slip into a coma that lasted fifteen years. In addition Andrelia's middle child, Dwayne Barnes, decision at the age of nineteen to leave his brutal reality of Detroit to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor/entertainer in Hollywood,. In spite of his odds, he does exactly that. It's the choices that we make, regardless of our environment, that determines one's destiny.
