You are rummaging through your Grandmothers attic and come across a beautiful old clock. You blow off the dust and open it in hopes of bringing in back to life, to hear it's 100 year old chimes. Alas, despite your best effort the clock sits silent. The mechanism, the gears, the chimes, the hammers; meet the man who brings it all together and tinkers the clock to life. The art of clock repair is a one that is dying. "The Clock Shop" is a look at a man who has a passion for this dying art.

As an experiment, filmmaker Steven Harris gave a Super 8mm camera and a two and a half minute roll of film to each of sixteen people: his friends, his family, and himself. Their assignment was open-ended: to film themselves wherever they felt most comfortable. Harris then had each person sit alone in a room, watch his or her movie on loop for an hour, and talk about whatever came to mind in front of a microphone. Afterwards, he then sat with each person to watch and talk about the other fifteen movies together. What resulted was That Time We Talked, a poignant and challenging film about the interrelationships of a Virginia community.

Using their own self-created artwork to explore a deep and important subject, school kids explain their understandings of the word 'Peace'. Inter cut with many of their vibrant and richly expressive drawings, the kids' verbal responses are by turns poignant, funny, spooky and insightful. It offers a glimpse into what kids are learning about our society and culture and what they are likely to carry on into their lives as adults.
