This is an anti-war film. It portrays the evils of war and of science at the mercy of the military. It is a film about music, centered around a performance of Benjamin Britten's "War Requiem" by internationally acclaimed musicians. Mtislav Rostropovich, the conductor, plays a prominent role.

A powerful film that follows students at College of the Ozarks as they are given the opportunity to bridge gaps and build meaningful relationships with veterans of WWII. Since 2009, C of O has paired members of America's greatest generation with students to revisit the sites of WWII in European and Pacific theaters. Five college students gather to recount their experiences on the 70th anniversary of the Bataan Death march in the Philippines and the Holocaust Remembrance Tour in Europe. Their interactions take us through the anticipation, the difficulties, the celebrations and the life-changing experience that the Patriotic Education Program provides. The students explain that their lives are forever changed due to America's greatest generation and this very unique program at College of the Ozarks.

For over two decades Northern Uganda experienced a war that displaced over two million people. The Lord's Resistance Army, a rebel group, killed, tortured and maimed civilians. They forcefully abducted an estimated 35,000 children and terrorized them into being soldiers and sex slaves. Their childhood spent in the bush; tortured and traumatized; innocence stolen by being forced to commit atrocities against their own; families killed or disfigured, hope was something to hope for. The lucky ones escaped, most of them having matured in the bush. Having been to the depths of anguish and back, what more was there to live for? This documentary captures personal stories of individuals whose lives were interrupted by war, and what means they use to battle the war.

An actor in an empty New York City theater recreates the last hours of President Allende's life on September 11, 1973. There, all alone and aware of this being his last battle, his memory brings to life key moments of his life, family, childhood, love-life and the son he wished for and never had... as the presidential palace is bombed repeatedly, he faces his final destiny...

In January 1944 the second group of the arrested students is sent to the Buchenwald concentration camp. They are taught by university professors from Jena University, who are driven to Buchenwald to teach them, also in racial studies.
