In What Time Is Left, filmmaker Dakin Henderson brings us into the emotional transformation of his extended family as his two grandmothers navigate their mid-80s. Grandma Polly is in an advanced stage of dementia. Grandma Deedee is sharp-witted and determined to die with dignity. As his grandmothers' children weigh the value and consequences of an incapacitated life, the filmmaker unexpectedly finds himself in the emergency room after a life-threatening crisis--forcing him, and us, to face our deepest fears around aging and the end of life.
