Between 2009 and the end of march 2014, 133 Tibetans have self immolated. Many in this world don't understand why. The Chinese communist party taught the Tibetan people there can only be one sun in the sky at the same time. And the Tibetans who self-immolated agree, and that is His Holiness the Dali Lama and the values and culture which he embodies.

After 60 years of civil war, the Republic of South Sudan has emerged as the world's youngest nation. The World's Youngest Nation: South Sudan, filmed on location in the Republic of South Sudan, explores the emergence of a new nation from civil war. South Sudan faces many hurdles, not only is it the world's newest nation but it is also one of its youngest, with 70 percent the population being under 30 years of age. Yet it is the youth who give South Sudan hope. Through the eyes of five Southern Sudanese youths, this documentary explores not just the politics of South Sudan but also the creativity and courage of its youth in art, music, sports and education.

The island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean is divided since 1974 in a Greek and Turkish part. The film follows Greek and Turkish Cypriots attempts to cross the border from the year of 2000 until 2012. In 2000 the border is impermeable, both parts of the island are divided strictly. 'Seeds for Peace' is an UN coached program for youngsters and the only platform, where people can meet. In 2003 the Turkish Northern Republic of Cyprus opens the border unexpectedly. The film joins people from both sides, visiting their former homes for the first time after nearly 30 years. Tears of joy and pain pattern the relationships on the island until today. In 2012 the borders are permeable, but the political crisis remains unsolved.

The documentary shot in Jerusalem and its surrounding Palestinian Territories, describes the lack of freedom of movement in the area, through the relationship and the chatter between taxi drivers and their customers during the journeys from Jerusalem to Territories, and the attempts by the common people to overcome barriers, real, political and psychological. Their talks cover a wide range of topics, from private aspects to the contingent situation and the route of travel allows us to see the landscape, the 'outside'. The stories of the protagonists are alternated with an interview to Munther Fahmi, a Palestinian owner of a bookstore. He try to explains us the difficulties of movement on the basis of different ID documents of local residents. The result is the 'absurd'.

For the first time in history, US and former Soviet veteran pilots reunite, more than 30 years after their first encounter in the air, at the height of the Cold War.
