Haunting

Summary It's Jinja's birthday, and her friends have no clue how to celebrate it. Jinja's upset that they don't seem to know what she likes, so she gets a little peeved. But then Klipse attacks a nearby city. Krag! Looks like Jinja's birthday will have to take a back-seat to work... TCT arrives on scene and descends into a GIANT HOLE in the Earth's crust. Deep inside they find an ANCIENT TEMPLE, thousands of years old! After learning that Klipse is searching for the temple's powerful CONCENTRATED MONSUNO ESSENCE (so that he can use it in his never-ending quest to create the perfect human/Monsuno hybrid) TCT knows they have to stop him. But that's made tougher when DROOG shows up to obtain the Essence, too, as part of his work creating Alien Monsuno hybrids. And on top of that is the fact that the temple is BOOBY-TRAPPED and HAUNTED by a GHOST called THE MAD MONK! TCT treks through the eerie temple and manages to defeat the Mad Monk's many death-trap obstacles. This all culminates in a battle with Klipse, who must hand over the five kids to the Mad Monk's ghost, in order to obtain the concentrated Essence as a prize! It's a tough battle that only gets tougher when the Mad Monk's GHOST shows up to help give Klipse the upper hand. In the end, only Jinja is left standing - because her friends have been POSSESSED by the Mad Monk! As she runs for cover, she opens a door and is greeted with something she wasn't prepared for... a SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY! WTK!? Turns out her friends DID plan a great birthday for her. This whole thing took place in the VR WORLD! Bren slipped a VR headset on her when she was asleep, with the boys well-aware that Jinja loves FUN ADVENTURES. And Jinja's stoked - she knew her friends would never let her down. Best. Birthday. EVER!
