Maison de la Gare is a non-governmental organization that was founded in 2007 and operates in the Senegalese city of Saint-Louis. It provides support to the Talibe, both to those who go out to the streets every day between their Quran lessons to beg for food and / or money, and those who have escaped from their schools and now live on the street. The mission of the organisation is to help children who are forced to beg and are abused by their teachers (marabouts) from illegal Quran schools.
