Summary Long before the major art coups at the National Museum and the Modern Museum in Stockholm, one of the biggest art thefts in Sweden of all time took place. There was a break-in at the Carl Larsson estate in 1988 when two young men took a total of 47 paintings by Carl Larsson, Anders Zorn and Bruno Liljefors. Through dubious methods, the head of the National Criminal Investigation Department, Tommy Lindström, uncovers a decisive clue. But the methods will also become his downfall.
