Summary A wistful journey throughout the bucolic soul of wine. The eighteen chapter series transcend the traditional documentary format by using wine as the excuse to unveil the rich history and culture of Spain and its people. An anonymous character narrates her travel experience by means of letters, post cards, e-mails to an anonymous reader (we the viewers). The protagonist of the series is wine, but I converted it into a woman that searches the poetry in wine rather than exposing, like a litany, facts and ciphers about winemake.

Wine is culture and history beyond a bottle; as one of the characters in the series said: "...a mansion is ok, a label is ok....; but, behind a (wine) bottle there must live the soul and mind of a person..."
