Documentary film about a mariachi singer called Jaime Garcia Dominguez, he became fascinated by the recklessness and ladies' man lifestyle of the classic Mexican movie characters with one difference: he's got HIV.

The author establishes a communication with his cancer-sick mother through text messages from Cuba. During his stay in the island the author works on an research for a possible documentary, he is impacted by a series of places, displacements and intimate situations that remind him of the path of his own self.

Three generations of the Kuuskoski family from Finland draw troll characters, sew troll dolls, tell troll storys, and dream troll dreams in a small house in Wilmington, N.C. "Trolls know how to make people smile," says daughter Minna. "We're stuck on trolls."
