S1.E2 ∙ To Have and Have Not

The documentary talks about the malnutrition and the problems associated to the access to food on global scale. It investigates on social and economic contradictions that are behind the "hunger geography" and it try to answer the increasing food demand with the food-agricultural industry.

When Anna, a twenty-eight-year-old photographer, is put in charge of a report on the restoration works at The Ostend Museum of Modern Art, she discovers by chance five paintings signed Constant Permeke, whose power and mystery move and fascinate her.She decides to embark on a quest to find out about who Permeke actually was, the places where he lived, how he worked, what experiences he went through.

A documentary glimpse into the true life of a desperate and lonely street corner evangelist in Los Angeles; named John Chandler. As this Hollywood street preacher's grass root ministry evolves, a shocking but unique look into L.A. culture in revealed, as wicked and confused souls attempt salvation. Jogn Chandler's message is witty, controversial and a kick in the teeth to anyone who claims to know the Lord, and be doing the Lord's work. The lines between fiction and reality are jarred, and becomes blurry when John Chandler is mysteriously murdered, along with two of his disciples. An L.A.P.D. homicide detective's willingness to allow the camera crew access to film the murder scene, provides a chilling view into the obscure evangelist ministry; and his untimely death.

'Lift Up' follows two brothers, Clifford and Huguens, as they return from homes in Maryland to visit Haiti, the land of their birth, and to fulfill a promise to their grandfather, Andre Torchon, who died shortly after the earthquake. The stories they collect from Haitians in 'Lift Up' assign faces to some of the 250,000 quake victims. To memorialize Andre, the brothers decide to bring a kite back to the United States; kite-flying has long symbolized hope in Haiti. When the kite they build, using pieces gathered in the hills of Haiti, is finally flown, it becomes clear that the hands holding the string could be those of any survivor, and that the string binds them unbreakably to their loved ones above.

In a small struggling town, a proud high school wrestling coach sacrifices everything to maintain a historic 70-year tradition that is slowly slipping away.
