Science meets metaphysics in the feature documentary, 'What Is Synchronicity?' (101 Minutes). It's been about 80 years since psychiatrist C.G. Jung invented the word 'synchronicity' to describe moments of meaningful coincidence. He wanted to renew the value of subjective experience in a culture that prefers objectivity and encourage us to see unity between the two. Discussion of mystical experiences is somewhat more open today than it was during Jung's time. However, we're only starting to develop language for synchronicity. Is it random or is there a hidden cause? Is it psychic or delusional? Does it point to our destiny? How does it relate to quantum mechanics?
