S6.E6 ∙ Verschwörung - Die ganze Wahrheit

People- children and adults- are speaking about their lives and about the Syrian revolution and its effect on everyday life. They speak about today and the beginnings of the Syrian revolution, dating back to the early 70ies. Many of them who have been living in towns have fled to villages where they have found help.

Where Are You Going, Thomas is a documentary about Thomas Park Clement's extraordinary life. His father is assumed to be a U.S. military man who had visited Korea during the Korean War, and his mother was Korean. He was abandoned by his Korean mom when he was four or five years old after his father disappeared. He had lived homeless until he was brought to an orphanage and adopted to the Clement family from Charlotte, North Carolina in 1958. He ended up running his own multi-million dollar medical device company. He is also helping Korean adoptees all over the world. He is the product of his own positive imagination in spite of his dark childhood.

After 34 years, the filmmaker tries to search for her lineage and discover that she has two brothers who fought for opposite side of the Vietnam War, while one of the oldest sister marries to an American soldier. For many years, the subject of our division is forbidden as though we didn't remember or recall what happened there. With frustration the filmmaker is creating a documentary to explore family division and silence through personal interviews.

As they campaign for justice for their countries, they battle a hostile climate in their new home.
