After having suffered discrimination throughout her life, Claudia, a trans-Chilean midwife, remembers the hardest and most difficult moments she had to face in order to live her identity. The documentary tells its history, its struggle and the constant abuses that lived on the part of a society that still excludes those it considers different.

In southern Portugal, where we find beautiful beaches from all Europe, major oil and gas companies acquire fossil fuel exploration contracts along its coast. João Camargo, activist and climate expert, Angela Rosa, a local farmer, and Laurinda Seabra, a former South African oil industry worker, are struggling to save their land and form community support groups.Taken as a true example of unity and civil force, the film raises up the following questions - Can civic involvement make a difference? Can we make a difference these days? Who is really in charge, politicians or locals?

'Library of the Early Mind' is an exploration of how children's literature affects our culture, our children and ourselves, hearing from the writers and illustrators who have put a half-billion books on your children's night tables. The film examines the more serious artistry and the darker side of creativity that go into these childhood tales.

Sita is a Hindu girl from Suriname who lives with her family in The Netherlands. Trying to assimilate to Dutch culture, she looks for a job, while still learning traditional Hindu classical dance and helping with a Hindu wedding. The different cultures, traditions and religions must all confront each other.
