Summary The spectacled bear cubs Tupa and Sonco in Frankfurt Zoo have now grown into impressive spectacled bear cubs. Today they are supposed to learn how to get to another part of the enclosure via a movable bridge. But that is easier said than done. Despite attempts by zookeeper Claudia Löschmann to lure them with treats, the bears seem to be of little interest. The loose drainpipe is much more interesting because they can also play with it. White stork chicks have hatched for the first time in Opel Zoo in Kronberg. The three are still completely helpless, so zookeeper Desirée Studt is lovingly looking after the offspring. This is a round-the-clock job for surrogate mother Desirée, because the youngest stork child is not gaining as much weight as hoped.
