A history of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920), its causes, and its aftermath.

Vietnam 1967: John Murphy, then a military intelligence adviser for the Army, C.I.A., and South Vietnamese intelligence services, reveals the gray areas of critical on-the-ground spy work, where trust is hard-won and easily lost.

Countless atrocities were committed during the course of Sierra Leone's devastating, drawn-out conflict from 1991-2001. With civilians being the primary target of attack, women were particularly vulnerable to violence during the civil war. AFRC and RUF forces regularly kidnapped girls and young women, forcing them into sexual servitude for the forces, or into marriage with commanders. Young boys were also kidnapped to become child soldiers. Women young and old were beaten, raped, and impregnated (with their children later stigmatized by being called "rebel babies") by adult commanders and child soldiers. For the rebels, sexual violence became a weapon to be used against the civilian populations, as a demonstration of its power and impunity. Filmed in Sierra Leone during the war, this is the story of three abducted women and one child soldier, their captors and the leaders of the rebel and government forces, and the teachers and health workers who responded to this untold crisis, overshadowed by the more often reported story of blood diamonds.

Seventy-Nine US Navy SEALS have paid the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11/2001. Retired Navy SEAL Sniper, Dave Hall, and LA Artist, Ellwood T. Risk, created a work of art from the target Dave shot 79 times from 911 yards on 9/11/2012. Documenting the journey of a SEAL, injured in a firefight who wants to reset the day, to the stories of the lives of the fallen, as told by their families, woven among the creation of the art, Until it Hurts meets along the way a retired Navy SEAL Lieutenant who survived being shot in the face, a civilian couple who purchased the art, a seventeen year-old who wants to be a Navy SEAL and the NYPD Officer who's best friends were killed in 9-11.

More than 120 ships entered service into the United States Navy during the beginning of the 20th century. Only one survived to the end. This forty-six minute long documentary explores the famous and news-making history of the USS Texas, BB-35, the very last surviving Dreadnought-style ship in the entire world and the only ship left to have actively served in both world wars. The program begins with the construction of the famed ship, named for the great state of Texas, and her commission in 1914. The story continues as the new ship, barely finished, was sent to Mexico to stop a terrorist uprising. Interviews with military historians give insight to her incredible engineering attributes such as being the first battleship class with 14" guns - the largest guns in the world at time of completion; being the first battleship class in the US Navy to carry radar; being the flagship of the Northern Attack Group during the North African landings in 1942. Moving through her exploits in World War I, this action-packed documentary moves into even more incredible tales of heroism as we explore the battleship's involvement in World War II. In addition to emotion-filled interviews by veterans who served aboard her, telling of nightmarish kamikaze attacks and watching the heroic raising of the US flag on top of Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima in 1945, this documentary also contains journalistic gold - a candid talk with legendary reporter and war correspondent, Walter Cronkite, who was assigned to the Texas in 1942 to cover the action in North Africa in his very first ground action war correspondence. The program ends with the decommission of the mighty battleship in 1948, when she was transported to a small town outside Houston, Texas, to begin her second career as a museum and memorial to the men and women who served this country in the name of freedom.
