A cosmic stone transforms a peasant girl into an adult superheroine, who then must battle a snake-haired woman's genocidal plans to take over the country.

Now dating Gwen Stacy, having a job as a photographer for the Daily Bugle, as well as fighting crime as Spider-Man, Peter Parker has a pretty good life at the moment. But then everything falls apart, as Peter learns that his friend Harry Osborne, the Green Goblin, is still alive, as well as a new threat - "Carnage". Eventually, he realizes his mistake, and must get rid of the suit, as well as defeat The Green Goblin and Carnage.

Panic breaks out in the playroom and the Avengers are assembled to save the day.

Whereas the first film concerned a string of diamond robberies , this involves the search for a couple of missing paintings by world-renowned artists - the map of the location in question is hidden inside four identical statues of a Buddha.
