Every evening during exam season, as the sun sets over Conakry, Guinea, hundreds of school children begin a nightly pilgrimage to the airport, petrol stations and wealthy parts of the city, searching for light to study. This evocative and poignant documentary shows how children reconcile their daily lives in one of the worlds poorest countries with their desire to learn.

The 18-minute documentary ventures up the garden paths and down the Euphrates Creek, exploring how this 100-year-old wood made it into our lives today. It's the story of a place that shouldn't exist in Kansas and the people who have loved it. Every aspect of the film was made in Kansas by Kansans. It was underwritten with a grant from the Kansas Humanities Council as part of their initiative 'Kansans Tell Their Stories' for the state's 150th anniversary.

The Togni's family is the oldest family of Circus in Italy and one of the oldest dynasties in Europe still active today. Circle is an intimate portrait of this unique Circus family, enriched by sixty years of extraordinary footage entirely filmed by the family itself. These home movies, filmed on Super8, VHS, Hi8 and MiniDv, will intercut the present narration creating flashbacks with historical and evocative value.

Why and when did his grandparents come to France? His mother's silence leads the narrator to take her to Spain, back to her Spanish family. There, immersed in the tenebrous territory between emotions and the prohibited the words begin to flow, but soon the quest changes tack, becoming an obsession to know the truth about his grandfather, a veritable mentor... Will the narrator find his own personal truth within this chapter of History?
