Summary This very cool Geodesic Dome House has been abandoned for over 20 years. In 1985 a very talented artist bought the land for $35,000. She had a dream of building a Geodome House. Constructing began in the late 90's. For unknown reasons she stopped the construction on the home and abandoned the property. Geodome homes have more efficient air circulation and keep temperatures even throughout the structure. This can make them 2 to 4 times more energy efficient than traditional homes. These homes also insulate more efficiently due to their unique shape. Because of the shape and are less flat. It can stand for harsh weather and natural disasters such as tornadoes and earthquakes. The bigger the dome home is, the stronger it will be.
