Summary Doing some digging online I came across this top secret abandoned satellite dish. I finally found the location using Google Earth. Google Earth is not always accurate as it can be outdated so I wasn't sure 100% it would be here. After driving through the mountains I came across a dead end road. Once I parked my vehicle I made my way up the mountain. This is an 100 foot in diameter Teleglobe satellite dish. It transmits telephone, telex, cable television, and data transmissions to 10 Pacific Rim countries, including Korea, Japan, China, and the Philippines. It was built in the 1970's and has been abandoned and has not been in operation for years.
