Summary Originally this building was a hotel and I believe it was built in the early 1900's. It may have historic status but I'm unsure. It's also known to be very haunted. For years they hosted small concerts here. A number of popular Canadian bands played here. I was told this strip club had lost its liquor license a few times for over serving customers. There is even reports they still served alcohol without a liquor license for a short time. Like most bars that over serve customers they get their far share of fighting and drunk drivers. In July 2004 a group of friends were on a golfing trip. The group was staying not far from the strip club. They all decided to attend the strip bar and enjoy themselves after a day of golfing. A few fights broke out inside and ended up outside in the parking lot. A man who was a husband and father of 3 ended up in the altercation in the parking lot. He was knocked down and hit his head on the pavement. He's friends tried to get help from the bar but the staff locked the doors and refused to help and call 911. It took approx. 45min for someone to call 911. Sadly he later passed away in hospital. In 2009 the family received 3.1 million dollars in a settlement. Shortly after this the strip bar closed for good never to serve another drink again. Now it's rotting away and will likely be demolished very soon.
