Summary Kwiaahwah Jones is an important figure in Haida contemporary art. Born on the Haida Gwaii archipelago off the northwestern coast of British Columbia, Kwi won the 2005 Vancouver International Airport Art Foundation Scholarship for young Northwest Coast artists.
