Dos father, Jimmy Boy, a retired boxer, is diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. This hinders Dos from focusing on his dream of becoming a professional boxer himself. Moreso, Jimmy Boy is arrested for a crime he did not commit because of a drug-related conflict with his old boss. Despite the support of his grandmother, his best friend, his unexpected love interest in the newcomer Trina, and the community of souvenir sellers in Benguet, Dos makes the ultimate sacrifice.

Yuji is a twenty year old boxer who makes ends meet by working part-time at a flower shop. Although he works beside her everyday, he hides a deep affection for Kaori, the manager of the shop. Tohko is a sincere and active young woman that works at a local crepe shop. Her initial meeting with Yuji in a video store ends quickly with both ridiculing the other's video selections. However, Tohko notices him training in the park and falls in love with him instantly after seeing this serious and determined side of Yuji. Her persistence brings her to his debut-boxing match, but as she cheers for him she soon realizes his heart belongs to Kaori.

Sonny Mendoza dreams of attending a prestigious college summer program. But when he doesn't get the scholarship money to go, he turns to his side passion for quick income: boxing.

Despite their fathers' rivalry, two university students form a friendship at a boxing gym as they tackle family drama, romance and personal crises.
