Baltimore 1981. Failing Public Health. Failing Public School System. Unemployment skyrocketing. Crime rising. Open air drug markets. But within East Baltimore a special group of neighborhood kids, lead by a 5'3' phenom named Muggsy Bogues, joined forces under the 'brick tough' philosophy of Coach Robert Pernell Wade aka 'Flaky' to become the greatest high school basketball team ever.

In a Montreal high school, 9 young students with atypical paths are brought together around a drama therapy project which aims at providing a voice for marginalized groups. In the course of their meetings, questions unfold around the curious institution that is the 'polyvalente' or public high school. The film discusses without detours the taboos and the difficulties that encounter a youth marked the violence of the world. Searches for meaning, drugs, mental health, performance issues, critiques of society, freedom, radicalism... these young people open up through theater and claim ownership over their words and their space, shattering the stereotypes usually tied to adolescence.

Mongolia is known for its original Nomad culture as well as the spectacular natural landscape. Since gold deposits have been discovered however, both are threatened. Mongolians are breaking with their traditions and have started to plunder their land digging for gold. They are using mercury in their extraction of gold and thereby poisoning their environment.
