S1.E1 ∙ Missing Magic

Two women are living together in a small town in southern Chile. Rosalia dreams of her life partner Juan, now deceased, and Laura dreams of becoming a car mechanic elsewhere. Their daily life shows us a world in which women represent good and evil, religion determines people's lives and social hierarchy is not challenged.

In 1974, Texans Mark and Andy Godfrey, aged 11 and 8 respectively, went on a family ski vacation to Aspen, CO. The plane they were traveling on crashed in the mountains taking the lives of their parents and brother and sister. The Godfrey project is a documentary film that explores the events of the crash as well as how it affected Mark and Andy for the the rest of their lives. It's about resilience, courage, perseverance and discovery. It's ultimately a film about how the twin beacons of love and family can help overcome even the greatest of losses.

In 1996 Mattias Löw and a small film crew engaged some commuters of the Stockholm Metro in conversations about life, today and tomorrow. Five years later they decided to do the same journey again in order to find out what had happened.
