Summary In Settle, Graham Munro and Billy Hodge at the Dalehead veterinary practice have to perform a cartilage operation on the hind leg of a show-jumping horse which has been left with a limp after an injury. At the George and Dragon in Hudswell, landladies Jackie and Margaret Stubbs go on a publicity drive to attract more customers to the pub: they are interviewed on the local radio station and they get author Mark Reid and his dog Elvis to add their pub to his book of pub walks. At Moor Lodge Farm near Keighley, Carol and Philip Mellin send the last few cows from their herd to the cattle auction, so they can concentrate on breeding, training and showing sheepdogs. In Malham, blacksmith Annabelle Bradley has finished the chandeliers for the local pub. But they weigh 30 kilogrammes each: will they be too heavy for the pub ceiling to support?
