Summary At the outbreak of the Mexican Revolution in 1910, the National Preparatory School was already the most important educational center of the country, and its classrooms were constantly graduating many young people called to lead public life in the field of letters, arts, politics and the so called "liberal professions". At the end of the Revolution, those same graduates who had witnessed the destruction caused by the war, worked in the urgent task of rebuilding the country. Since then -and to this day-, thousands of high school students have gone through the venerable classrooms of the Colegio de San Ildefonso, and later through the many schools that spread through the capital of the country. This program presents their experiences, anecdotes and their contribution to the cultural and material progress of Mexico.
