A meditation on friendship and life in the disappearing wilderness of the West, 'Low and Clear' follows two formerly close friends who re-unite for one last fly fishing trip. Over the course of their time together they come to understand how much they have each changed and how these changes now threaten the friendship.

Bopha, which means arrest, is a play by Percy Mtwa examining the role of black police who are outcast in their own townships, trapped between loyalty to their white masters who pay and their communities that raised them. This film mixes scenes from the play and documentary about South Africa.

'Lonely Swallows' is a documentary film which follows the struggles of Japanese-Brazilian kids living in Japan. In Hamamatsu, the city of automobile factories, there are over hundred thousand young Japanese-Brazilians who came to Japan when they were very young with their immigrant parents. Many of them drop out after junior high school, and start working at factories. Due to economic recession, many of their families lose their jobs, and they are now forced to return to Brazil. The film follows five Japanese-Brazilian kids struggling to realize their dreams while they are torn apart from families, friends and lovers over the course of two and half years.

Through interviews and newsreel clips, this documentary attempts to measure Bob Marley's impact on the world.
