American DREAMers follows the journey of group of five undocumented youth and an ally who risk their freedom by publicly coming out as undocumented and walking 3,000 miles across America's heartland to organize for immigrant rights.

Once a hero, Firefighter Alphonse Sicignano is now fighting to survive. Like many who worked at Ground Zero, Al faces mental and physical ailments. But when he tests positive for cocaine while on duty, his whole world crashes down around him. Engulfed in a lawsuit with New York City and struggling with alcohol and substance abuse, Al is on the brink of losing his career, his wife and his two daughters. As the story evolves from 2001 to the present, his wife Suzanne is left picking up the pieces. His two daughters, Allie, just like her father and Chloe who never back down, will determine whether the father they love can bear 'The Weight of Surviving'

A group of teenagers board a bus for West Virginia, leaving the streets of Washington, DC to participate in an ambitious peace education program.
