Through one year we follow the Norwegian artist Vebjørn Sand towards his exhibition: Guernica a turning point. During this process, he visits places in Guernica where attacks carried out in 1937. He meets with survivors and does research for his work. Compared to Picasso's famous painting of Guernica, Vebjørn wants to represent the scenes of the bombardment realistic and figurative, with the color pallet of the 1880s classical painters. We follow him to New York where he works day and night to get the exhibition done. After an accident, while running, he is forced to stay in Norway. Recovering at his parent's house, he has to lay a new strategy to be able to finish his work. It is a journey through an artist's inner thoughts around art, himself and the continuing battle with his work.

This 60 minute documentary portrays the little known history of America's second largest immigrant group since 1990 ... Filipinos. Survivors of the infamous Bataan Death March and equally brutal Japanese prisoner of war camps share their memories of courage, torture, and death. They speak with outrage of the Rescission Act of 1946 which denied them the benefits and recognition deserved as being part of the United States Army. Impassioned protests and political speeches eventually enabled the Rescission Act to itself be rescinded in 2008. The Filipino veterans, many of whom are in their late 80's and 90's are dying at an alarming rate with many of their claims not yet realized. This complex relationship with America continues today as Filipinos share their pride upon being sworn in as United States citizens while other Filipinos remain in the shadows fearing deportation. Today's Filipino youth, the first generation to be primarily born in this country, relate their confusion at what it means to be Filipino and American as well as their frustration that the truths of The Hidden Dream have been hidden from them.

Austrian United Nations Judge Claudia Fenz arrives in Kosovo to hear the case of a group of ethnic Albanian men accused of killing a Serbian woman. Whilst dealing with the peculiarities of the region, including rolling blackouts, she meets with prominent locals and learns of the traditional, somewhat radical, approach to justice in Kosovo, favoring reconciliation over punishment.

Dr. Mitchell Young is a Behavioral Medicine and Addictive Disorders licensed psychotherapist who has counseled Vietnam veterans for over fifteen years. More importantly, he is a Vietnam combat veteran. Following his years in the Marine Corps, he battled (and continues to battle) the same emotional scars he is trained to detect and treat. When he returned home from Vietnam in 1968, he fell deeply into a dangerous drug culture in California. Seventeen years of his life was wasted-four of which he lived homeless. It wasn't until he began intensive treatment at the Veterans Outreach Center in Seattle, Washington that he began his recovery. Dr. Mitchell Young's dynamic interview is a must see for all those dealing with the lasting effects suffered by many combat veterans.
